Research Through Practice and Collaboration

September 28 - September 29, 2019

TBD

(This is a small workshop by invitation only)

This workshop will explore how traditional research scholarship, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and the work of university-based artists can engage with community-based theatre groups and theatre artists. Guided by London(UK)-based scholar and theatre practitioner Dr Helen Eastman, whose work frequently combines academic research and the creative and performing arts, we will look at existing models and examples of collaboration and explore what collaborative projects might look like for workshop participants. Additional time will be devoted to discussing grant opportunities available to support proposed collaborations.
